Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA–accredited program.
• Active state dental license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is expected.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests for care.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Maintain high ethical, professional standards and ongoing learning.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
