Job summary

SERVPRO of Sugar Land is hiring for a mitigation crew member to support water, fire, and mold loss jobs. You will work on-site with a Restoration Supervisor, performing cleanup, extraction, and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities include operating drying equipment, taking moisture readings, and maintaining a professional, timely service for customers while staying safe and organized on job sites.

Qualifications

• Steady work history: no more than two jobs in the last three years.
• Hands-on restoration/ construction/ demolition experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-call hours.
• Physically able to lift, work in heat and wet conditions.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and crew.

• Take turns in on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

• Work under your Restoration Supervisor on site and match the pace and the standard.

• Treat every customer home like it is yours. Be professional, clean, and on time.
• Keep your truck, tools, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.
• Take your turn in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

What we require

• Steady work history: no more than two jobs in the last three years.
• Hands-on work experience that transfers — restoration, construction, demolition, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, warehouse, or field service.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work on-call and irregular hours.
• Drug-free.
• Physically able to do field work (lift, climb, work in heat and wet conditions).
• Clear, professional communication with customers and your crew.

Nice to have, not required. We train and certify.

• IICRC WRT, ASD, FSRT, or AMRT
• Prior SERVPRO or restoration experience
• Moisture meters, drying equipment, and job documentation software
