Job summary

Servpro is seeking an experienced, dependable Restoration Technician to join our team in a hands-on role focused on water and fire damage cleanup and restoration. You will work independently and with a crew to restore properties, manage equipment, and document progress on each job.

Ideal candidates have water damage restoration experience, know how to operate drying equipment and moisture meters, and can participate in occasional after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in water damage restoration.
• Experience operating drying equipment and moisture meters.
• Knowledge of water mitigation and structural drying procedures.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces and other tight areas.
• Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and cleanup.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment, including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Perform moisture inspections and document drying progress.
• Assist with water, fire, and mold remediation projects.
• Safely remove damaged materials, including drywall, flooring, and insulation.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and company vehicles.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete job documentation, including photos and daily notes.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
