SERVPRO of Sugar Land is seeking a hands-on mitigation crew lead to manage water, fire, and mold losses. You will guide a small team, own the job from start to finish, and ensure accurate site documentation. Strong communication with customers is essential, and training toward IICRC certifications is offered.

Responsibilities include site leadership, safety, and on-time project completion. A reliable vehicle and willingness to work irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

• Restoration experience or transferable field trade experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-call hours.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a small crew on site and set the pace and standard.
• Manage jobs from arrival to final walkthrough, including extraction and drying setup.
• Document moisture readings, photos, logs, and notes on the same day.
• Be the face of the job for the customer and explain next steps.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe truck, equipment, and site.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed.

Lead a mitigation crew on water, fire, and mold losses for SERVPRO of Sugar Land.

What you own in your first 90 days

• Run your jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.
• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, and set the pace and the standard.
• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.
• Be the face of the job for the customer. Explain what is happening and what comes next, and keep your word.
• Keep your truck, equipment, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.
• Take your turn in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

What we require

• Steady work history: no more than two jobs in the last three years.
• Restoration experience, or hands-on trade experience that transfers, such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, carpentry, or field service.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work on-call and irregular hours.
• Drug-free.
• Physically able to do field work.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.

Nice to have, not required. We train and certify.

• IICRC WRT, ASD, FSRT, or AMRT
• Experience leading a crew
• Moisture meters, drying equipment, and job documentation software
