Dry Force is hiring a Water Restoration Technician for a full-time role in the Austin area with work in Pflugerville, Texas. The technician will remove and replace water-damaged materials, operate drying equipment, and assess reconstruction needs while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires physical ability, a valid drivers license, and flexibility for overtime. Training and advancement opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Must lift 50 lbs or more.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license required.
Overtime may be needed and some holidays.
IICRC certifications in water damage or mold preferred.
1-2 years restoration experience preferred.
2-4 years construction experience preferred.
2-4 years customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace damaged materials from water damage
Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA scrubbers
Assess scope of new construction and sell reconstruction services
Work with management to ensure customer satisfaction
Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
Follow safety, quality, and image policies
Drive company vehicle to job sites and comply with laws
Document drying progress via phone or tablet

Restoration Technician - Water

About this position

Dry Force is hiring a Technician for a full-time position in Austin, Texas.

As a Water Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities:

Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
Assess the scope of new construction required and sell Dry Force reconstruction services
Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
Document drying progress using a phone or tablet

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred
Speaking English is not a requirement of the position, but you must be eligible to work in the US.
