Job summary

Dry Force in Austin, Texas is seeking a Water Restoration Technician for a full-time role. You will remove and replace water-damaged materials and handle related issues, acting as the first line of support for clients after water damage.

You will operate equipment like air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA scrubbers; assess job scope, promote reconstruction services, and work closely with the management team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Overtime and some holidays required.
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• 1–2 years of Restoration experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of Construction experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• English not required; must be eligible to work in the US.

• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies.
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet.

Dry Force is hiring a Water Restoration Technician for a full-time position in Austin, Texas.

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities

• Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
• Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
• Assess the scope of new construction required and sell Dry Force reconstruction services
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
