Job summary

Dry Force Corp in Hutto/Austin area seeks a full-time Restoration Technician - Water to remove and replace water-damaged materials and guide customers through recovery.

You will set up air movers, dehumidifiers and HEPA scrubbers, document progress on a phone or tablet, and work with the management team to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility for overtime and some holidays; IICRC certification preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in water damage/restoration and customer service preferred.
IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess scope of work and sell Dry Force reconstruction services.

Drive company vehicle to job sites and adhere to policies.

Restoration Technician - Water

About this position

Dry Force is hiring a Technician for a full-time position in Austin, Texas.

As a Water Technician, you will be in charge of removing, replacing and repairing water damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Water Technicians need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities:

Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
Assess the scope of new construction required and sell Dry Force reconstruction services
Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
Document drying progress using a phone or tablet

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license
Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
1-2 years of Structural Restoration experience preferred
2-4 years of Construction experience preferred
2-4 years of Customer Service experience preferred
Speaking English is not a requirement of the position, but you must be eligible to work in the US.
