Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration for residential and commercial properties. The role requires hands‑on capability, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to customer care during loss events.

You will perform water extraction, structural drying, and fire/smoke mitigation, operate restoration equipment, and document progress while maintaining safe job sites. On‑call rotations and overtime potential are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, or skilled trades preferred.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire cleanup is a plus.
• IICRC certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and fire/smoke mitigation.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers).
• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents.
• Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency response services.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environments
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls
