SERVPRO of Sugar Land is seeking a hands-on lead mitigation technician to head on-site responses to water, fire, and mold losses. You will manage crews, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and quality.

This role offers hourly pay between $20 and $25, plus profit sharing, with opportunities for growth and training via our certification programs. The team emphasizes ownership, urgency, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Run jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.
• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, setting pace and standards.
• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.
• Be the face of the job for the customer; explain processes and next steps.
• Keep truck, equipment, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.
• Take turns in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

Lead a mitigation crew on water, fire, and mold losses for SERVPRO of Sugar Land.

Pay: $20 to $25 an hour plus profit sharing.

What You Own In Your First 90 Days

• Run your jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.


• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, and set the pace and the standard.


• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.


• Be the face of the job for the customer. Explain what is happening and what comes next, and keep your word.


• Keep your truck, equipment, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.


• Take your turn in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

What We Require

• Steady work history.


• Restoration experience, hands-on trade experience that transfers (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, carpentry, or field service), or parallel relevant job experience.


• Reliable transportation.


• Able to work on-call and irregular hours.


• Drug-free.


• Physically able to do field work.


• Clear, professional communication with customers.
