Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking self-motivated teammates to assist in restoration. You’ll respond to emergencies, perform water and fire restoration tasks, load vehicles with tools, and communicate with clients and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient projects.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work on-call hours, and experience in restoration or related fields. IICRC certification is a plus, and the team offers training and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations for water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities and set up equipment.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and job site findings to supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients about restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks including water extraction and drying.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
