Job summary

SERVPRO of Sugar Land is seeking a skilled mitigation lead to manage water, fire, and mold losses in the Sugar Land area. You will run jobs from arrival to final walkthrough and coach a small crew of technicians on site.

As the face of the project, you’ll communicate clearly with customers, keep equipment and sites safe, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations. Training and certification support is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous restoration experience or transferable hands-on trade experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work on-call and irregular hours.
• Physically able to perform field work.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Run your jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.
• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, and set the pace and the standard.
• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.
• Be the face of the job for the customer. Explain what is happening and what comes next, and keep your word.
• Keep your truck, equipment, and job sites clean, stocked, and safe.
• Take your turn in the on-call rotation for after-hours losses.

Lead a mitigation crew on water, fire, and mold losses for SERVPRO of Sugar Land.

Pay: $20 to $25 an hour plus profit sharing.

What you own in your first 90 days

• Run your jobs from first arrival to final walkthrough: extraction, demo, drying setup, monitoring, and equipment pickup.
• Lead and coach one to three technicians on site, and set the pace and the standard.
• Document every job the same day: moisture readings, photos, drying logs, and notes.

What we require

• Steady work history.
• Restoration experience, hands-on trade experience that transfers (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, carpentry, or field service), or parallel relevant job experience.
• Reliable transportation.

• Drug-free.
• Physically able to do field work.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.
