Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Springfield, IL seeks a Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. You will develop relationships to grow accounts and manage projects with support from a Construction Superintendent, covering start to finish and contractor oversight.

The role requires both sales and project management experience, with a base salary of $60,000–$80,000 and eligible for annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years disaster restoration experience (residential and commercial) required.
• Restoration estimating experience and ability to write scopes in Xactimate required.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel out of town.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and restoration estimates for project leads.
• Lead communication between customers and insurance providers.
• Monitor construction through the on-site Superintendent to ensure schedules and budgets.
• Evaluate progress and team performance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of repair and restoration projects.
• Identify potential legal issues and review with Branch Manager and Superintendent.
• Oversee project close-out and represent the company in meetings.
• Provide technical assistance and support to project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales/Marketing of potential projects.
• Lead internal teams focused on continuous improvement and client/vendor relationships.
