Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore - Crofton is seeking a hands-on Mitigation Project Manager/Estimator to lead field production, manage a team of technicians and drive restoration projects from start to finish. You will prepare estimates in Xactimate, review loss details, and communicate next steps clearly to homeowners and clients.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance restoration or construction industry.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lead a team and work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing teams of 2+ people.
• Experience with data entry on tablets or mobile devices.
• Certifications preferred: ASD, FSRT, OCT, WRT.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and check travel route; load equipment and arrive on site.
• Complete jobs per company processes within budget and quality standards.
• Monitor active jobs and communicate with customers.
• Maintain records of personnel and resources and billable events.
• Create estimates in applicable software.
• Inspect onsite and define scope of work with PM/Lead Tech.
• Document losses with photos and upload into the system.
• May write mitigation and reconstruction estimates in Xactimate.
• Explain drying processes and next steps to customers using printed materials.
• Interface with adjusters and customers to resolve issues.
• Ensure customer signatures and process payments when needed.
• Prepare documentation for insurance reimbursement.
• May train new technicians or key operational team members.
