Job summary

Servicemaster Rrh is seeking a Project Director in Spartanburg, SC to lead restoration and reconstruction projects from estimating to closeout. You will drive revenue through accurate estimating, protect margins via disciplined job costing, and guide complex projects with strong field knowledge.

You will own production revenue, gross profit, and client satisfaction while supporting estimating strategy to win and execute profitably.

Qualifications

5+ years of construction project management and estimating experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Proven track record managing project financial performance.
Strong proficiency in Xactimate.

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections to assess scope of loss and construction requirements.
Develop detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate in accordance with carrier guidelines.
Review and refine scopes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and profitability.
Identify and capture change orders and supplemental opportunities.
Manage estimate revisions based on carrier feedback.
Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise during client meetings.
Ensure projects are bid and contracted at margins aligned with company targets.
Oversee projects from contract signing through final completion.
Develop project schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
Resolve scope discrepancies, field issues, and customer concerns.
Maintain accurate project documentation including notes, photos, and reports.
Own gross profit performance across assigned projects.
Monitor labor efficiency, subcontractor costs, and material usage.
Ensure all billable events are captured and communicated.
Review budgets and cost reports to prevent margin erosion.
Partner with accounting to ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
Support AR efforts on escalated accounts when needed.
Serve as senior point of contact for property owners and insurance adjusters.
Lead complex claim negotiations and supplemental discussions.
Maintain strong carrier and referral partner relationships.
Ensure client satisfaction from initial contact through project completion.
