Job summary

Michael & Son Services in Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. area is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager to oversee restoration projects from inspection through completion, billing and payment.

You will coordinate crews and vendors, communicate with customers and insurance partners, ensure proper documentation, track progress, and keep projects moving on schedule while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in restoration, construction, insurance, or a related field.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new restoration losses and determine the work needed.
• Explain the restoration process to customers and sell recommended work.
• Develop and review scopes of work and ensure crews understand tasks.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep customers updated.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, agents, and property managers.
• Monitor drying progress and changes to the scope of work.
• Ensure files are documented and ready for billing.
• Identify and address issues delaying billing or payment.
• Participate in rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
