Job summary

BMS CAT in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Restoration Lead Technician to perform high quality water mitigation, water extraction, demolition, and debris removal. You will lead a work crew on-site and set up drying equipment.

Applicants should have experience in water mitigation; IICRC certification is preferred. Must lift 50–100 lbs, climb ladders, and have a valid driver’s license. The role includes on-call rotation and benefits such as life insurance, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and generous PTO.

Qualifications

Restoration Lead Technician

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history
