Job summary

BMS CAT in Jessup, MD is seeking a Restoration Lead Technician to perform high-quality water mitigation, water extraction, demolition, and to lead a work crew on various residential projects. You will set up and monitor drying equipment, adhere to drying techniques, and participate in on-call rotations; IICRC certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Restoration Lead Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set‑up procedures
• Set up containment, decontaminating, and monitor remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
• Participate in our on‑call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history
