Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician at our Raleigh, NC location to perform a range of restoration services. You will help with water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and operate drying equipment, following established guidelines.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and the potential to participate in on-call rotations. A valid driver’s license and good driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation
• Ability to lead a work crew
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Set up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements:

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving history
