Job summary

BMS CAT in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Restoration Lead Technician to perform water mitigation, extract water, and oversee job-site operations. You will also manage demolition, cleanup, drying equipment, and crew leadership at the client site.

Requirements include experience in water mitigation, ability to lift 50–100 pounds, climb ladders, and participate in on-call rotations. IICRC certification is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in water mitigation.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and in tight spaces.
• Participate in on-call rotation work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew
