Job summary

BMS CAT in Hayward, CA is seeking a Restoration Lead Technician to perform water mitigation, extraction, and related tasks on-site. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality water damage restoration services across residential and commercial properties.

The role requires stamina to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces. You will lead a crew, set up and monitor drying equipment, and adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred.
• Experience in water mitigation.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements

• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule

Compensation

Base Pay Maximum: $37

Base Pay Minimum: $26
