Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a Restoration Lead Technician in Colorado Springs to perform high quality water mitigation, extraction, and demolition work while leading a crew on job sites. The role involves setting up drying equipment, containment, and remediation tasks in residential settings.

Candidates should have experience in water mitigation, lifting ability, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in water mitigation.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Compensation

Company paid Life Insurance, optional Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available, 401 (k) plan, generous paid time off, and much more.

Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Base Pay Maximum: $26

Base Pay Minimum: $22
