Job summary

Resource-Environmental-Solutions, LLC (RES) is seeking an Estimator I to support cost estimation for restoration and construction projects. The role involves reading plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and generating bid-ready cost estimates in collaboration with project teams.

You will work with experienced estimators and technical staff, gain exposure to field conditions, and help drive accurate pricing from concept through bid submission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in environmental/civil construction management or related field work.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Prior experience with estimating software or digital plan review tools (e.g. Bluebeam, Adobe).
• Exposure to reading, understanding, and/or implementing construction drawings/plan sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, costing, and pricing restoration and construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans at various stages.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and technical teams.
• Develop or obtain vendor and subcontractor price quotes for bids.
• Support bid preparation and project development activities.
