The position emphasizes fundamentals of carpentry, tool usage, safety, and adherence to BELFOR standards. Candidates should be prepared for possible nights, weekends, and travel as required by project needs.

Qualifications

• Basic carpentry fundamentals required.
• On-the-job training provided to develop skills.
• Able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for construction dust and debris.
• Perform flood-cutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards/cabinets/doors.
• Develop material knowledge related to trims, doors, cabinetry.
• Install insulation with guidance.
• Learn framing, trim installation, and cabinetry installation under supervision.
• Dry-in a building relating to roofing material installation.
• Learn MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation.
• Attend safety training courses as required.
