  • Move and change oil drums on racks, including manually handling large and heavy drums as required.
  • Drain oil using a pump and follow proper handling and disposal procedures.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain 5S standards in all assigned test cells to ensure a neat, efficient, and safe work area.
  • Clean the tool room using dust rags and basic cleaning solutions to keep the area orderly and presentable.
  • Organize, categorize, and store parts and products delivered to the tool room by test technicians.
  • Order supplies from the tool crib using an iPad or computer, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
  • Use SAP to place and track supply orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Use a phone to call in work orders and communicate needs or issues promptly.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Check and verify expiration dates on chemicals and solvents in test cells and remove or report outdated materials.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized appearance of all assigned areas so the facility consistently looks well-maintained.
  • Interact courteously and effectively with on-site test technicians and other personnel, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Work largely self-directed, managing daily tasks and priorities to ensure all restocking, cleaning, and maintenance duties are completed.
Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to walk and stand for approximately 90% of the workday.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use an iPad or computer to order supplies and complete simple data entry.
  • Willingness and ability to interact directly with on-site customers and technical staff in a professional manner.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with a high degree of independence in a largely self-managed role.
  • Comfort working around common industrial chemicals such as acetone, solvents, isopropyl alcohol, cutting oils, cutting fluids, degreasers, and compressor oil.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks such as stocking, assembly-related handling, cleaning, lifting, and basic use of hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic mechanical concepts, troubleshooting, or construction-related tasks.
  • Comfort using SAP or similar systems to place orders and manage inventory.
  • Experience working in environments that require adherence to 5S or similar organizational standards.
  • Ability to follow basic Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures after training.
  • Strong attention to detail when checking dates on chemicals and solvents and maintaining organized storage areas.
