Job summary

McAlister's Deli is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to support daily operations at a corporate location. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate preparation and packaging of menu items with a focus on fast, friendly service.

The role requires standing for most of the shift, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication with team members and guests. Part-time, hourly position with opportunities for flexible hours and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a casual restaurant dining environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for 80-100% of shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent oral communication skills to interact with management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take accurate orders in a friendly manner.
• Be knowledgeable about menu items and ingredients; follow service procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and drive-through/counter cash control.
• Deliver orders to guests, ensuring completeness and correct packaging.
• Keep dining room clean and provide friendly guest service.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly across dining, curbside and pickup areas.
• Assist other stations when needed to prevent service delays.
• Prepare menu items quickly while maintaining quality standards.
