Job summary

BIRDCODE in Brookfield, CT is seeking a Team Member to be cross-trained across the restaurant and help deliver the BIRDCODE experience each shift. You will join a fast-paced, hospitality-driven team focused on great food, teamwork, and delivering an amazing guest experience.

You’ll take accurate orders, help guests navigate the menu, prepare and serve food to our recipes and quality standards, and keep your station clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous restaurant or quick-service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Dependable and ready to work at your scheduled start time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, energetic, and caring hospitality to every guest
• Take accurate orders and help guests navigate our menu
• Prepare and serve food according to BIRDCODE recipes and quality standards
• Work multiple stations including register, expo, food preparation, cooking, dining room, and more
• Verify orders for accuracy before they reach the guest
• Keep your station clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, temperature, and FIFO standards
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking responsibilities
• Support your teammates wherever needed to help win the shift
• Participate in team huddles, training, and station development
• Follow direction from Shift Leaders and Operators
• Bring a positive attitude, accept coaching, and continue developing your skills
