Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork.

This role builds on Shift Manager duties with daily responsibilities including supervising 4-12 staff, coordinating events and promotions, ordering inventory, and training. Full-time/part-time day/evening/weekend shifts vary by location; compensation to be discussed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Operate the computerized POS system/cash register.
• Assist in planning staff schedules and supervise a team of 4-12.
• Maintain restaurant safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with product ordering and inventory.
