Job summary

IHOP in Twin Falls is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, and ensure readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet daily restaurant needs.

You’ll train new hires, reinforce food safety and service standards, communicate menu items and promotions, monitor time cards, adjust schedules to control overtime, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Assign employee duties, encourage teamwork, and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Inform staff about new menu items, specials, and promotional materials for clear understanding of food preparation and service.
• Support development and growth of team members; conduct orientation and training for new employees and refresher training for current staff.
• Supervise employee performance and behavior; ensure policy adherence and high service standards.
• Monitor and review time cards daily; adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs and minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control as per SOPs; maintain security protocols; check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds, and make daily deposits.
