Job summary

Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar – Franchising – United States is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to train and develop servers, hosts, and bar personnel, supporting superior operations and guest service. You will be accountable for labor cost and guest satisfaction metrics while maintaining a clean, inviting environment.

You will lead staff to deliver a friendly guest-focused experience, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive management experience in a full-service restaurant with bar.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to follow through.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and point-of-sale system.
• Must be able to work flexible hours during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency and commanding presence in management style.
• Leadership skills – able to direct, coach and supervise a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture.
• Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
• Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled and directed.
• Lead, manage, and deliver a friendly guest-focused experience.
• Ensure only perfectly prepared and plated food and drink are served to each guest.
• Execute staffing plan and production plan according to the guidance of the GM/KM.
• Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed.
• Always ensure responsible selling and service of alcohol as mandated by licensing authorities, Serve Safe Alcohol training, and Boston’s Pizza training guidelines.
• Maintain appropriate security protocols for guest, employee, and restaurant safety.
• Accurately account for cash tips, safe counts, and till management.
• Other duties as required.
