Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager/Shift Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, and safety while leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will manage 4–12 staff, assist in planning events and promotions, and help with product ordering and inventory. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential for success in this role.

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
