Job summary

Subway Team is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on seven key areas: guest experience, food quality, cleanliness and appearance, inventory control, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork. This role sits within the Subway Team and involves ensuring high standards across operations.

You will manage a staff of 4–12, assist with planning events and promotions, coordinate training for events, and assist with product ordering and inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.
• Assist with inventory management and product ordering as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff, including assigning and evaluating work for 4–12 employees.
• Assist in planning and coordinating events and promotions in-restaurant, including training for events.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and security standards in the restaurant.
