Job summary

Panera Bread in Lafayette, IN seeks a Team Manager to lead daily shifts, support team development, and uphold Panera's high standards of service and quality.

You will recruit and interview teammates, train on food safety, and foster a warm, inclusive culture while meeting sales and guest experience goals. This role requires flexibility, including nights/weekends, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification)
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Background check required
• Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, stand/walk up to 6 hours, and communicate in loud environments

Responsibilities

• Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience – and celebrate their achievements along the way
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained
