Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Team Manager to lead shifts, support team development, and uphold our high guest-service standards in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

You will recruit and interview candidates, train on food safety, and foster a warm, inclusive culture while delivering exceptional food and experiences for guests. This role requires 18+ years, 1+ year restaurant management, ServSafe certification, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ year of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand/walk 6 hours.
• Be an ambassador of our Guiding Values and Behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff.
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience.
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
• Help build our Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
