Job summary

Belle & Grey, a luxury restaurant located at The Hotel Landing in Wayzata, MN, is seeking an experienced hospitality professional to assist the Restaurant Manager in all operations. You will oversee servers and staff, maintain service standards, and support events and menu tastings.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a related role within hospitality, strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of food and beverage management.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related hospitality experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food & beverage management and people management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, runners, and other restaurant staff to ensure service standards and SOPs.
• Supervise service of guests and respond to guests' needs.
• Assist manager in establishing and monitoring side-work duty completion.
• Maintain bank to SOP and ensure it is balanced and secure.
• Read daily shift sheets and prepare for the next shift; check coverage.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and proper setup of tables, stands, and aisles.
• Communicate daily with the restaurant manager about events and house counts.
• Assist managers in conducting menu classes and taste panels.
