Job summary

Belle & Grey at Hotel Landing by Sage Hospitality Group seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support all phases of restaurant operations in the Wayzata location. You will act in the absence of the manager and help supervise servers, runners, and other staff to maintain service standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal communication with guests and staff.
• Strong ability to interpret instructions and manage guest matters.
• Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, and reading plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff adherence to service standards and SOPs.
• Supervise guest service and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Assist manager with side-work and shift coverage planning.
• Maintain cash bank per SOP and ensure balance.
• Review daily shift sheets and plan coverage for next shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of restaurant and tables.
• Coordinate with restaurant manager on events and house counts.
• Assist managers in conducting menu tastings and trainings.
