Qualifications

• Practical experience as a supervisor in the hotel/restaurant industry, preferred.
• Proficient in restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift by delegating duties and following up with team members.
• Maintain a professional image by grooming and uniform guidelines and safe work practices.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed throughout the restaurant.
• Support staff training and development, including scheduling and staff morale initiatives.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and maintain inventory controls.
