Jersey Mike's Subs Westminster #22042 is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations and building a high-performing team. You will coach, develop, and motivate staff, hire and train new teammates, and ensure guest satisfaction through Jersey Mike's standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coaching, developing, and motivating team members through positive leadership.
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Leading shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Monitoring labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift.
• Assisting with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards.
• Handling customer concerns professionally and creating positive resolutions.
• Supporting scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals.
• Opening and closing the restaurant as needed.
• Leading by example and fostering a positive, accountable, team-first culture.
