Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in both part-time and full-time capacities. The role supports the Operations Partner in daily store operations, oversees crew, and helps deliver high-quality submarine sandwiches and service.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to safety and company standards, with opportunities for growth and in-house development within a vibrant team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and ability to demonstrate effective leadership practices; communicate effectively; make basic decisions where established procedures do not always apply.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle (some travel required for training purposes).
• Must uphold safety and quality standards in food service and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Sales and assisting in net operating profit of the business
• Compliance with standard policies and procedures
• Assisting with Crew Member training
• Quality control and food safety
• Security and protection of company assets
• Compliance with all city, state, and federal codes and laws
• Team building
• Maintaining cleanliness in the appearance of Crew Members, seating area, food preparation area, and exterior of the restaurant at all times.
• Additional responsibilities as may be required by the Operations Partner
