Job summary

Omaha Marriott Downtown is seeking a motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead front- and back-of-house operations, supervise staff, and uphold brand standards in a bustling downtown Omaha setting. You will train teammates, manage guest requests, ensure food quality and sanitation, and help control payroll and supplies while delivering exceptional service and a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous bartending experience and knowledge of food and beverage operations, including staffing, equipment, and guest relations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, to be able to handle guest requests and banquet event orders.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and diplomacy.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to perform prep work with dexterity.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required and must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holiday.

Responsibilities

• Perform all front- and back-of-house roles, including server, cashier, and expeditor as needed.
• Supervise staff and oversee department operations in the manager's absence.
• Support ongoing training to uphold exceptional service and brand standards.
• Monitor food quality, service, cleanliness, and sanitation across all areas.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control payroll and equipment costs.
• Build positive guest relationships by promoting services and through resolving concerns effectively.
• Utilize POS and restaurant management systems to ensure accurate transactions, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Model professionalism while supporting hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
