THE ROLE
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll help lead the day-to-day restaurant operation and serve as a key connection between the Food & Beverage management team and hourly team members. You’ll keep service running smoothly, support and develop the team, and make sure guests receive the high level of care and hospitality we’re known for.
- Lead day-to-day restaurant shifts and help ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Communicate department goals, service standards, and performance expectations to the team
- Train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to hourly team members
- Serve as a resource for team members, helping resolve questions, concerns, and challenges
- Ensure the team has the tools, supplies, equipment, and support needed to provide great service
- Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally
- Monitor service quality and look for opportunities to improve the guest experience
- Conduct shift briefings and help ensure appropriate shift coverage
- Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety requirements, OSHA guidelines, and department procedures
- Work closely with management to recognize strong performance and build an engaged team
- Communicate team and operational updates, challenges, and opportunities to F&B management
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to keep operations running efficiently
- Perform restaurant service duties as needed and lead by example
- Help manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor
- Support initiatives designed to improve guest satisfaction and operational performance

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a Food & Beverage or restaurant environment
- Previous experience as a server and/or bartender preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, guest relations, and service standards
- Ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills with both guests and team members
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize
- Comfortable handling guest concerns and responding quickly to changing needs
- Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements
- Food Handler and alcohol awareness certification, or ability to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
- Must be 21+ to handle alcoholic beverages
- Dependable and flexible with availability, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed
