Job summary

Jamaica Bay Inn, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, seeks a part-time Banquet Server to support weddings, meetings, and private events with polished, guest-focused service. You will set rooms, assist with setup and beverage service, and ensure smooth operations throughout events.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet/restaurant hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, guest-focused approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow event instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set banquet rooms per event specifications and pre-set areas.
• Assist with meal and beverage setup for events.
• Prepare service stations and stock supplies.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
• Check in with guests and respond to needs with a friendly approach.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Adhere to food safety and responsible service standards.
• Keep banquet rooms and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Report missing items or damaged equipment promptly.
• Support other teams to ensure events run smoothly.
