The Cheesecake Factory is seeking a part-time Steward at our Des Peres, MO location. You’ll support back-of-house operations by ensuring the right food, beverage, and supply items are on hand, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory, ordering, receiving, or supply management a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support for all food, beverage, and supply needs.
• Place orders while maintaining documentation and inventory logs.
• Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Stock, zone, and organize inventory in dry storage, coolers, and freezers.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Maintain organized storage systems for kitchen efficiency.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors.
• Demonstrate accountability and a positive work ethic.
• Multitask and work under pressure with a patient attitude.
