As the Special Events Manager, you will...

• Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels; assist with managing event software
• Close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
• Manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
• Seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
• Build guest loyalty and book repeat business
• Communicate with the service team all event details; partner with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure that each event is flawlessly executed against objectives
• Book small to large events and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Work on-site to build a solid team atmosphere

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume events environment
• Restaurant or similar experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Catering/event software experience
• Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
• Excellent customer service
