Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Boardman is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the Associate team on scheduled shifts, coaching for improvement and ensuring operational and financial standards are met. The role partners with the General Manager to deliver quality service, food safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will supervise Trainers and Associates, implement the 14 point walk, and ensure compliance with health codes, training programs, and guest recovery procedures. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification preferred or required.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Positive, motivating communication.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a Steak ’n Shake shift.
• Execute the 14 point walk and correct deficiencies.
• Ensure food safety compliance and recipe adherence.
• Maintain service, hospitality, accuracy and speed standards.
• Lead by example and discipline associates when needed.
• Recommends associates for hiring, promotion and termination.
• Coach and inspire Associates to deliver exceptional service.
