Job summary

Steak ’n Shake is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant team on assigned shifts, ensure adherence to standards, and coach Associates for excellence. The role partners with General Manager and Franchise Partner Designate to meet financial and guest service goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• ServSafe certification as required by local regulations.
• Understanding of Steak ’n Shake policies, procedures, state laws, health codes, safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Steak ’n Shake shift to meet service and quality standards.
• Lead and coach Associates; conduct shift huddles and on-going training.
• Ensure food storage, preparation, and HACCP compliance.
• Address guest concerns using the Guest Recovery Model—L.E.A.R.N.
• Administer scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and reporting.
