Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking a Shift Manager or Restaurant Manager to help execute daily operations, lead crew, and uphold food safety and customer service standards across shifts. Responsibilities include cash management, scheduling coverage, coaching team members, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies to delight every customer.

This role may involve traveling to nearby locations as needed, and ServSafe certification is required by training end.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One or more years of restaurant experience.
• ServSafe certification by end of training.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager as needed, including setting up cash registers at open and verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-through to ensure restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
• Work with management to train and communicate with crew members and Team Trainers through team huddles and meetings.
• Supervise crew members and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and deliver 'Delight Every Customer' service.
• Maintain quality, production and service standards and a safe, efficient environment.
• Manage shift procedures and schedules to cover all customer service demands.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and follow up.
