Job summary

Penn Station East Coast Subs in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a motivated shift leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, direct the workflow of team members, interact with customers, and ensure quality food is prepared to standard.

The role requires reliable leadership, strong communication, and the ability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week. You will train staff, monitor performance, and uphold company policies and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as Shift Leader or similar in retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Available to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervising team members, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring tasks are performed efficiently.
• Reporting issues to management during shifts.
• Upholding company policies and health & safety standards.
• Coaching staff and training new team members.
• Closing out cash registers and preparing deposits.
• Handling customer issues and employee disputes.
