Modern Market Eatery in Highlands Ranch, Colorado is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to ensure smooth shifts, uphold guest service standards, and lead in a fast-paced open kitchen environment. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, monitor food quality, delegate side work, and guide staff across all stations while coordinating breaks and supporting the on-site manager.

This full-time hourly role includes overtime eligibility, tip sharing potential, health benefits, PTO, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed
