Job summary

Modern Market Eatery is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to grow in a leadership role within a fast-paced open kitchen environment in Colorado Springs. You will oversee shift operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and keep the team performing at high standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to coordinate tasks, and multi-tasking across stations. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, holidays, 401k, and eligibility for tip sharing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.
