BURGER KING is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader in Waterbury, CT to oversee all shift activities, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold brand standards. You will supervise team members, handle cash, and train staff while collaborating with the management team to execute the business plan.

The ideal candidate has 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience, and prior fast food exposure. English fluency is required; Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
• Previous fast food restaurant experience required.
• Communication in English is required, Spanish comprehension helpful. Fundamental requirements include reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills.
• Strong leadership skills, including leading by example and remaining calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, looping in the right stakeholders for support when needed.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• Ability to display positive attitude and a genuine desire to make others happy and serve one another.
• Ability to treat others with respect and care.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal communication in Spanish and/or English.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all restaurant activities during the shift to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Partner with Management Team to execute business plan and provide training.
• Resolve issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Plan and execute shift operations efficiently while following cost controls.
